Pat Szekel, CPA
Pat received his degrees from cross-town rivals with a Bachelors degree in Economics from UCLA (1973) and a Masters of Business Taxation from USC (1981).
His accounting career began with Hughes Helicopters and after two years he entered Public Accounting, including three years with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). Pat began his career with Wiegel, Szekel and Walker in 1981 and became a partner in 1983.
Pat’s primary emphasis is working with entrepreneurial businesses, high net worth individuals and business succession planning. Pat’s experience includes accounting, tax and estate planning, and business consulting to work towards the goal of keeping more of what you make and making more of it.
Pat and his wife Michele have three sons two living in New York City and one going to college at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. They enjoy traveling, dining out and Pat is active with various non-profit organizations.
